Every year, I select a word that will guide and define the road for the year. Last year, my word was questing.  My “quest” lead me to find new resources, develop leadership skills, learn to relax and take a deep breathe.

This year, the word is “Good Riddance”. In a google search,  the meaning and origin of the phrase seems to come from Shakespeare in Troilus and Cressida.

Thersites: I will see you hanged, like clotpoles, ere I come any more to your tents: I will keep where there is wit stirring and leave the faction of fools.
    [Exits]
    Patroclus: A good riddance.

I am not the poet and do not have fancy words. In my world, Good Riddance simply means look for new ways of viewing a problem or situation, do not get stuck doing the same thing over and over, or just travel life with a smile and without being upset of the negativity in the world.

I challenge you to look for the special word for the year.

Best of Luck in your “word search”
